The Body Mass Index (BMI) is a measurement tool that compares your height to your weight and gives you an indication of whether you are overweight, underweight or at a healthy weight for your height.
- A BMI of less than 18 means you are under weight.
- A BMI of less than 18.5 indicates you are thin for your height.
- A BMI between 18.6 and 24.9 indicates you are at a healthy weight.
- A BMI between 25 and 29.9 suggests you are overweight for your height.
- A BMI of 30 or greater indicates obesity. If you are obese, try consulting a doctor or losing weight.

All diets start of well and yes you will lose a couple of kilograms , but 6-12months from now you will be back and even worst off, also remember that each person is build differently. You can look stunning or like an absolute slob with the body you have been given. You cannot change the frame of the body but you can certainly do something to look the best possible way with your specific frame.
1. Natural products
At Quickly Slim we do encourage people to eat the natural way. We want you to favor natural products and ingredients. Stay away from processed food, fried and artificially manipulated foods. This will mean that you will have to stay away from the fast food stores and work towards a healthier lifestyle by preparing your meals with little or no oil preferably. Also incorporate raw fruit and vegetables much as possible into your diet. Quickly Slim products are natural and are formulated to give you that jump start you need for your lifestyle change.
2. Fluid Control
We at Quickly Slim recommend that you take 3-4 liters of water per day (this is our recommended daily amount). It improves the cleansing process and helps the kidneys to get rid of toxic waste in the body. It is compulsory to drink one glass of warm water with 25ml of lemon in the morning to jumpstart your digestive system.
The following fluids can be taken to contribute to the 3-4 liters of fluid per day
- Water (preferably)
- Tea & coffee (black and no more than 3 cups)
- Diet cold drinks (no more than 340ml)
- Fruit juices (no more than 250ml)
Stay away from the following
- Alcohol
- Creamers
- Sugar
- Sweeteners with aspartame
3. Mild exercise
Get active!!!!!
You need to burn more than what you take in if you want to lose weight.
Exercise is the best way to burn fat. Fat burning activities in your daily routine will burn fat locked in your body. This means that you need to be creative in doing things a little different to what your daily routine specifies currently – taking the stairs and parking a little further away so you have to walk a bit further to the store when doing your shopping. This will not only burn fat but also boost oxygen to the blood stream and muscles. The more oxygen you get into the muscles the more fat you burn. You will have more energy and have better self esteem which in return will make you more motivated.
Not all of us are born exercise junkies. It is a lifestyle decision to participate in some kind of exercise - no matter what kind. Get off the couch, leave the TV remote and start doing some kind of exersise at least 3 times per week. Start dancing, walk the dog, go bowling etc. Just do something. Of course you should not overdo it in the first week, you might be highly motivated but your body may not be ready for it. Rather gradually work up the pace. Always warm up before exercise by stretching. Measure your progress on a weekly basis.

4. Healthy Eating
Eating healthily is a way of live and does take some perseverance and determination especially when preparing food for yourself and your family. You have to be able to say NO!!!!!
- “Too much” - Reduce the portion size of everything you normally eat.
- Increase fluid intake – Drink Water.
- Cut out as much starch as possible. One serving per day is enough.
- Reduce sugar intake and use sweeteners without aspartame.
- Rather eat 6 smaller meals per day than one huge meal at dinner time.
- Eat lean cuts and lean meats and cut away excessive fat on meat portions.
- Only use Low G.I. Bread.
- Increase fruit and vegetable intake, Remember: Raw is better.
